It's just saving the icons extracted from the browsed files to another location while allowing you to specify that location, that's all. The icons are created so that you see nice images next to files, the same way explorer is showing. Nothing confusing here.Thanks.
So is this for specifying a specific custom icon? Seems odd that it isn't just adding the extension itself if all that's happening is you are giving a location for the standard icons that get saved for each index. Tbh, I don't even see the need for these icons. Why are they created? Is it down to cacheing or something?
It's already adding the extension .png by default, IF you don't specify one or the path is incomplete. Why it doesn't add the extension you want? Because it doesn't know it without you telling it.
